Going to South Africa thinking the cultures were vastly different, but coming back knowing that American culture is similar A student inspired to learn more added a major in geography Transformative learning that keeps going beyond our classroom One student now loves teaching elementary students about adaptation Learning about ecotourism led to a global sustainability graduate program for one student
