Zell Miller—3.7 in core classes (take off extra points for Honors/AP), 1200 SAT verbal & math, covers full tuition, calculated at end of senior year; no money for books or fees. Also need three rigorous courses.
Grant—available for students seeking certificate or diploma at a Technical College; covers percentage of tuition.

15. 9 THINGS TO DO TODAY TO GRADUATE TOMORROW
GO TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY, ON TIME. Missing classes puts even the best student in danger of falling behind.
SET A TIME AT NIGHT FOR HOMEWORK, and then work with your teacher on the material you didn’t understand. If you don’t master it now, you won’t be able to learn more complex things later (or pass exams)!
THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WANT TO EARN IN THE FUTURE. Nearly every job requires the basic skills learned in high school, and high school dropouts have a much harder time getting good jobs consistently.
TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT YOUR GOALS. Who do you want to be, and what will it take to get there? Your teachers, counselor and parents/guardian can help you figure out a plan to reach real and rewarding goals.
PASS EVERY CLASS. Talk to your teacher NOW if you are struggling, before it’s too late.
ASK YOUR COUNSELOR ABOUT OTHER OPTIONS if you are seriously considering dropping out for academic reasons. There are alternatives that can see you through.
REMEMBER THAT YOU DESERVE A FUTURE. Statistically, dropouts face more poverty, incarceration, and other hardships than graduates do. Set yourself up for future success.
FIND OUT WHEN EVERY TEST, PAPER, ESSAY, AND QUIZ IS GOING TO HAPPEN FOR YOUR CLASSES, and then study as much as you can. Don’t wait until the last minute!
