Chess: On 9 Dec 2013 we departed to Bloemfontein for our National finals Top schools. The u/13A team came 7th in South Africa. Captain was Alexander Maartens followed by Thapelo Mashile, Jacques Schoombie, Demetris Georghiades, Ndabenhle Masina and Abraham van der Walt. We came back on 14 Dec and left the same day for Durban for the SA finals. Mr Mathebula was chosen as the coach of the Ehlanzeni team u/12A. Team was: Theo Mogale, Alexander Maartens, Thapelo Mashile, Clive Dennison, Andre de Kock, Xavier Dennison, Vuyo Mokwena, Braham v d Walt, Joshua Mitchell and our star was Alexander who won 13,5 out of 15 matches making him the best u/14 player in SA. Xavier won the “mr Personality” trophy. We are proud of all our children!

Riaan von Bentheim: Ek het grootgeword in Pretoria en het by Laerskool Fleur skoolgegee voor ek Sabie toe gekom het. Ek is baie lief vir sport – speel self krieket, gholf en muurbal. Ek hou baie van die buitelug en die natuurskoon. Ek het nie ‘n meisie nie – weet wat is goed vir my!
Lizelle Morsner: Most people know me from Bosvolkies where I worked for 3 and a half years. Last year I worked at Goggabos , now I am back at Bosvolkies. I am married to Mr Gunter Morsner who teaches the computer classes and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I am the Gr R teacher for the english class.
Alta Rossouw: Ek het grootgeword in Sabie. Gr 1 in L/S Sabie en gematrikuleer by H/S Sybrand van Niekerk. Getroud met Daan Rossouw, hoof van Glory Hill Laerskool. 2 seuns, en 2 kleinkinders. Ek is ons Vader ewig dankbaar vir hoe Hy voorsien. Dankie mnr Kruger en personeel vir die hartlike wyse waarmee julle my ontvang het!
Annette Truter: Ek het grootgeword en gematrikuleer in Barberton. Na skool het ek 2 jaar diensjaar vir Christus gedoen. Ek het op PUK studeer en 2 jaar in Engeland skool gehou. Ek sien uit daarna om by L/S Sabie te werk.
Baie welkom aan Mnr Solly J van Rensburg – hy is ons skool se nuwe faktotum!
