I believe it to be providential and of great significance that my first encounter was not with the figure (person) of Luisa Piccarreta, but with the spirit of Luisa – with her interior life, with “her” doctrine of the Divine Will! by

2. Luisa “the saint”, as she could be seen by those who visited her:
There are varied ways of seeing Luisa; There are essentially three “levels”:

This is the first way of getting to know her – by way of photographs, testimonies of those who knew her, and above all, through her autobiographical diary.

3. The soul of Luisa, as I see it, with the eyes of the soul:
This tender image says to me, better than any other, who and what the real Luisa is like.
The littlest creature that Jesus had found, the baby girl that Luisa saw come out of her interior and which was her very own soul, passionate about Jesus, the martyr of obedience, the victim of love, little daughter of the Divine Will, the teacher of the most sublime science, the spouse --
This is the Luisa that I know, in light of her own testimony, and which has filled my life, both human and priestly.

4. The soul of Luisa, as it might be seen from a theological point of view:
With this particular image, in which one sees only the outline of Luisa – actually very little of her, I can convey my own personal experience: She is an open window which allows the Sun of the Divine Will to enter into the house. The merit of the window is simply to be open, because it is not the window that gives light, but the Sun which fills it.

5. Jesus said to her: “Your mission is great, because it is not only about personal sanctity, but has to do with embracing everyone and everything – and to prepare for the Reign of My Will in the midst of the human generations.” (Vol. 19, August 22, 1926)
“You could say that I am making of you the first statue, the first soul in which the regeneration of My Will takes place. Later, it will be easier to make replicas. Therefore, I say to you always: Be attentive, because it concerns something great – the most important thing that exists in heaven and on earth. It is about putting in safety the rights of Our Will – of restoring to us the purpose of Creation, of returning to us all the glory for which everything was made and making us pour out the graces which Our Will has established to give to creatures if they had fulfilled Our Will in everything.”
