Isometric Projection -the term ‘isometric’ comes from the Greek for ‘equal measure’ reflecting the scale along each axis is the same - Isometric views an object can be obtained by choosing the viewing direction of an object in a way that the angles between the projection of the x, y, an z axes are all the same, or 120 degrees

Orthographic Projection
-also known as multiviews -is a means of representing a three-dimensional object in two dimensions -derived from the Greek ‘orthos’ meaning straight and ‘graph’ drawing -up to six drawings of an object can be produced, but usually only 2 to 3 drawings are produced because they usually give enough information -The usual views are known as top, front, and side view
