Why TLC It is aimed at helping Teachers in government and private schools, Teacher trainees and Teacher Educators, to rebuild their resourcefulness as teachers. The main concern of this centre is to provide opportunities for professional development of teachers and teacher educators. To identify academic and institutional linkages between on/off campus faculty-community To develop need based learning materials (eg.Textbooks, handbooks, modules, primers etc.) and to organise their translation in to multi-lingual learner’s need To Create resource pool/ repository for Social Science Teacher & Pedagogues Refresher –cum-orientation (subject /problem oriented), capacity building inter/multi-disciplinary course TLC_Sagar_sanjay sharma

Methodological frame:
Within the broad objective of improving the learning achievements of school children, the twin strategy is to Prepare reflective teachers for the school system (pre-service training) and improving capacity of existing school teachers (in-service training) ; Following three core functions would give the Centre its identity, mission, and direction: Core functions of the TLC Operationalized inter-related levels Institution Faculty Learner/ community Training & Support Collaboration Research University State National Partners in Curricular & Pedagogic Engagement TLC_Sagar_sanjay sharma
