Graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2014 Graduated from Valdosta State University with Master’s Degree in 2018 Married Andrew on June 16th

Behavior Management Plan
Students earn tickets throughout the day for following our classroom rules – Tiger’s Promise Rewards I will give 3 warnings 1. Verbal Warning 2. Begin filling out Behavior Reflection note 3. Conference with student and have them fill out the rest of the note and place in their cubby. Goes home, please discuss, sign, and return.

Communication Daily Blue Folder: I check it every morning
Calendar: will have Specials each month and other important dates (birthdays, events, spirit nights) Family Journal: Sent home on Fridays. Please write back! Blog updated weekly (Sunday evening)

Field Trips and special events
We will wear the 1st grade PURPLE STEAM shirts on special event days In House Field Trip in November: Sound Performing Arts in Winter Zoo Field Trip in the Spring

If bringing in, please plan to come in during snack or at the end of the day: 9:30 – 9:45 am or 1:30 – 1:50 pm

Packet Helpful tips FERPA: If you think you will volunteer (in any capacity) at Tritt this year please sign the FERPA brochure on your child’s desk and leave it with me today. Tritt would not be the wonderful place it is without our parent volunteers! Thank you for all that you do!

Welcome Back from Administration
Communication will come in a weekly on Wednesday afternoon/evening – be sure your registration is correct! Homework: No more than grade level (x10) minutes (plus reading) a night Unexcused absences: Missed work will be required to make-up, but not count towards grades; no tests can be made up (there are six weeks of vacation throughout the school year, so please plan accordingly!) Car pool procedures – thank you for abiding by the new rules and taking the bus! Follow us on Twitter

The Tritt Tiger Dash is Tritt’s in-house PTA Fundraiser
With your help, the Tritt PTA funds programs, activities, and classroom supplies. The Dash is run with 100% volunteer help, meaning Tritt keeps almost ALL of the money raised. There are individual and classroom incentives. Our 3 week fundraiser ends with the TRITT DASH – a fun day outside for students to run an obstacle course!

Allergies and Special Restrictions
A minimum of 3 entrée choices available daily including at least 1 vegetarian option Fresh fruits and vegetables served daily and Georgia or locally grown features monthly To meet federal regulations and encourage healthy eating, students must select at least one fruit or vegetable with their meal Allergies and Special Restrictions Please inform the school nurse and myself of any food allergies! Specialist Behavior Slips
All Specials will be using the same behavior slip If your child receives a slip it will be reflected on the Conduct section on Report Card Due to time constraints and quick class changes, behavior notes may come home a day late
