Toolkit – providing a step by step approach
The Framework Literature Review Toolkit – providing a step by step approach Education programme outline Evaluation methodology Effectively communicate and co-ordinate the services to meet the needs of individuals with MS Demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care needs of individuals with MS. Demonstrate ability to accurately document referrals to the MDT within the hospital and community setting. Demonstrate ability to audit the MS Nurse Service in order to improve service needs. Consultancy Demonstrate ability to provide leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for nurses and other HCPs. Demonstrate ability to generate and contribute to the development of clinical standards and guidelines Demonstrate ability to use specialist knowledge to support and enhance general nursing practice. Demonstrate ability to identify and provide advice on service needs. Demonstrates ability to consult with MDTs and PwMS, families and carers to promote MS management. Maintain an up-to-date portfolio with evidence of continuing professional development which demonstrates current best practice.

Facilitate implementation of the framework Units of learning – aligned to 6 sections of toolkit Aims and objectives for each unit is identified Core reading for each unit Workshop component applies the tools for that section Post workshop component - reflection and application in practice

Conclusion The framework is a guide to support senior ED nurse managers undertake workforce planning. The framework promotes a consistent, standardised and evidence based approach The framework is the product of genuine collaborative work and co-design of multiple key stakeholders across our Emergency Care and healthcare services
