Personally I believe that the figures seen are true and false. Though it is true that Richer people can afford to buy all these indie films, at the same time people with not as much money also watch them. The fact that the film is a indie film is seen more in the resemblance of the fans then the fans of horror as they all watch indie films for mostly the same reason Personally I feel like the information from given to us is not completely correct, while some good points such as what fans of indie films are also in to may be correct, there is no acknowledgement of younger people between the age of who I believe are a large percentage of people who enjoy horror films. Also the fact that the website points mostly towards rich people enjoying this genre which I don’t think is exactly true.
