1 iCIMS 17.2 Release: Highlights
Last Updated Date: 8/31/2017

2 Introducing the 17.2 Release
iCIMS values feedback from our customers and provides an easy way for customers to share feature ideas through our Ideas Forum. The 17.2 Release delivers a number of highly-requested customer tools and includes various Career Portal enhancements to improve the candidate experience. Major new features include: Dynamic Login Experience [Recruit]: Direct candidates in the application process by having them first enter their address to determine if they are new or returning applicants. Pre-Sourced Candidate Login Experience [Connect]: Mask a prospect candidate’s profile information on their first login session to hide any data already entered by the organization. Password Reset Enhancements [TA Suite]: Bring candidates directly back to the most recent step in their workflow should they forget their password. Portal Visual Enhancements [Recruit]: Experience a new look and feel for Career Portals and the candidate application process.

3 Dynamic Login Experience: Ask Email First
Enhancements to the sign-in/sign-up process on the Portal include a new Enter your page, which requires applicants to input their address before providing any other information. Candidates are alerted if there is already a profile in the system with that . Based on whether they are a new or returning applicant, the Portal will lead the candidate to either log in to start their application or create a new profile. This feature is on by default through the Ask First setting in System Configuration and can be configured through various child settings.

4 Dynamic Login Experience: Force Email Verification
Another setting, when activated, forces new candidates to confirm access to the address they input on the Portal. Candidates are sent a verification and must click the link within this to start their application. This feature is off by default through the Force Verification For New Candidates setting in System Configuration. It is a child setting of Ask First; if Ask First is disabled, then Force Verification is automatically disabled.

5 Pre-Sourced Candidate Login Experience
Admins can now mask existing profile information from candidates when they sign in to their profile for the first time. This applies particularly to prospect candidates, whose profiles within iCIMS are often created by a recruiter. With this setting enabled, the candidate does not see any data the organization already has on file for them, including EEO information. The information that the candidate fills in on their first Portal session overwrites any existing, masked data. Non-required fields that are left empty will simply keep the existing data. Any new data entered in collection fields will simply be added to the existing collection (instead of overwriting it). This feature is off by default through the Mask Prospect Candidate Profile Info setting in System Configuration. It is a child setting of Ask First; if Ask First is disabled, then Mask Prospect Candidate Profile Info is automatically disabled.

6 Password Reset Enhancements
As part of our enhanced password reset process, candidates are now brought back to the most recent step in their workflow should they forget their password. When requesting a password reset, the candidate is sent an with a link to reset their password. After completing the reset, they are led back to the previous Portal page they were on before starting the reset process. The password reset process has been enhanced in the following places: On a Career Portal On a Connect Portal From a Platform-Sent Single iForm From a Platform-Sent iForm Packet

7 Portal Visual Enhancements
Building on the visual enhancements released earlier in 2017, the 17.2 Release introduces a new look and feel for Career Portals and the candidate application process. These enhancements are on by default through the New Portal Aesthetics setting in System Configuration When this feature is enabled, Ask First is automatically enabled—even if the Ask First setting is unchecked in System Configuration.

8 Portal Visual Enhancements (continued)
Among the updates made to the Portal: New fonts and colors provide an enhanced visual experience. New branding settings allow admins to configure the Portal as desired. Fields on the Portal are now better aligned. Job search results now display a portion of the job description. Postable fields can be mapped to the job listings on the Portal. Page controls now feature arrow glyphs. Sorting is now controlled by a dropdown. Job search agents are now known as alerts.
