ANO 410 is presented in the FIRST SEMESTER
One double lecture period per week
Assessment: semester test, group assignment and exam
Language of instruction: English
Some topics: Registration system in SA law, process to register a property in new owner’s name, power of attorney, title deed, sundry applications at Deeds Office transfer duty and VAT, mortgage bonds, general notarial practice, ante-nuptial contracts etc
Ideally suited for students who don’t see themselves practising in the field of litigation
