Listening is Key Over the last few weeks, we have noticed that the students are more chatty, not listening, and therefore, missing what we are covering in class. The material and pace at which we are coving new material has picked up drastically compared to before Christmas/Winter break!! Please reinforce at home the importance of listening. Listening helps us to learn, follow directions, and be safe. We will buckling down more on behavior in class. During our morning meetings, we will be reviewing our class expectations daily. Please help us by reinforcing this conversation at home. Thank you for all of your help! Valentine’s Day is Tuesday. Don’t forget Valentine’s Day is Tuesday, February 14th! Your child is welcome to bring in their Valentine cards any time up until Tuesday morning. We will not be having a party, but we will have a special snack and enjoy reading our Valentines from each other. Learner Profile of the Month: Balanced We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, and emotional—to achieve well-being for ourselves and others.
