Rise Up to Leadership Orange Action Teams
2
What is an Action Team? Action teams are project based
Leader in Me is broken down into many parts to make it what it is. Always changing Action teams will rotate members overtime
3
“It’s not doing one more thing, it’s doing what you’re already doing in a better way.”

WHY YOUR HABITS MATTER YOU are the core! ME – WE – US! 1
From the Inside Out Leader in Me Schools must first get their own teachers on the same page and improve the climate among their staff before they can make it come alive with the students. They can't expect changes in their students until they have changed themselves. As the great educator Roland S. Barth puts it, "The nature of the relationships among the adults who inhabit a school has more to do with its quality and character, and with the accomplishments of its pupils, than any other factor." This model is just as much about the adults as it is the children. It's inside out—first teachers, then students, and then parents. Foundation 1

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

What is a Movement? “Mobilizing people behind a shared purpose.”
Working together=greater ideas Greater ideas=meaningful connections Meaningful connections=meaningful relationships (especially with our kiddos) A movement starts out with a small group of people who are passionate about what they are doing. We want you to be passionate about which committees/action teams you are on so you are motivated to make connections with those people and be actively engaged behind that shared purpose.
