NEISD Urban Raider Challenge competition to be held on 24 SEPT, 2016, at the NEISD Raider Urban Confidence Course (UCC) and Heroes Stadium, at 4799 Thousand Oaks Drive, San Antonio, Texas
 Communication Objectives:
The NEISD Urban Raider Challenge is designed to test the overall physical fitness, competitiveness, and teamwork of each Raider team. The competition is open to all services and is tailored to prepare teams for both area national level competition. Specifically, the rope bridge requirements are identical to those established for the annual United States Army and All Service National Raider Challenges held in Molena, Georgia.
Activities:
The NEISD Urban Raider Challenge is organized into four separate events, including Event I - Team Ruck Run, Event II - Combat Fitness Challenge, Event III - Obstacle Course, and Event IV - Rope Bridge. All teams must compete and complete each event of competition to place. The competition is a physically demanding series of activities, conducted in sequence, based on a rotational schedule according to the team category
Key Take-Aways:
This is a SROTC and JROTC partnership event.  We aim to provide a safe high-energy environment to conduct the Raider Challenge in partnership with all Houston and San Antonio High School JROTC programs.  This event serves as a means to promote fitness and teamwork with JROTC cadets out of 26 JROTC programs the Falcon Battalion was the overall winner.
