Responsibilities Another set of eyes & ears & feet to monitor & walk around the room. Staying in testing location throughout all testing blocks. Know procedures of testing. Troubleshoot computer issues. Assist setup & end of testing day procedures (Tub items, etc.) Help ensure testing classrooms remain in good order.

Internet… MIST Kiosk Icon
Laptops—be sure button is switched to allow internet connection. *SHOULD NOT SEE ORANGE/RED. (side/front) Should be hardwired…However, Internet bars at bottom right. Red X, Yellow !. Click left, see what connection available. CONNECT. (Wireless Password: C0ltsRok) Continuous loading, circling, message “taking too long to load”. Control/Alt/Delete. Start Task Manager, End Task, …try again

Proctor website Teacher computer must remain on throughout testing to PROCTOR site. (One log in…) Students will be given TICKET for each test. (These must be collected & turned in after each test along with scratch paper that has name on it.) (Partner log in ELA…) Students may have to be Paused—any issue Pause & then must Resume to continue testing. *Timing is touchy! Student must see “paused” message—teacher Resume-count to 10 before student hit continue.

Timing of ELA test 90 minute Subtest 1. MUST STAY ONLINE IN TEST FOR MINIMUM OF 60 MINUTES. After 60 minutes may click NEXT. & will receive a STOP command. STOP here-do not go further. Teacher must PAUSE tests. *Students will use same ticket to RESUME testing on their next testing day. On second day of testing, teacher will RESUME students to allow testing to be completed.

TESTING PARTITIONS Please help to get these set-up at the beginning of testing. Test Security states “…should not be able to see another student’s monitor/screen…” Be sure students do not disturb these, mark on them, etc… Please help take these down at end of day’s testing—folded & placed in room ready for next testing day.

Tub contents >Green & Red sign to post on door. (One should be on door at ALL times, depending on situation. >32 Student Quick Tip Sheets (yellow) in plastic sleeves. (Distribute near testing computers for student access.) >Extra paper & pencils to distribute for scratch paper (If students do not have their own.) USE this tub for collection of ALL TURNED OFF cell phones/electronic devices, which may be returned to students at end of day’s testing.

Your break time. Days 1 & 2- days with three testing sessions: Lunch/CORE time for testing classes. Arrive back in time to help begin Testing Block 3. (See Purple Packet) Days 3 & 4- days with only morning session: Completed at 10:00 A.M.

Test Administrator…Teacher
Before testing: Check ALL Class Rosters with Tickets-SS,Math,ELA. Distribute to Homeroom teacher testing—when all tickets are accounted for. Login to Operational Test & identify/locate rosters needed for testing-SS, Math, ELA. (*The rosters must be pulled-up during Testing session on Teacher computer.) Read through Test Administrator Script.

During testing: Login to MIST Proctor Site & pull up Roster of class Testing session on Teacher computer. Make sure students have scratch paper & pencil. & Math given hand-held Calculator & may use graph paper as scratch. Distribute tickets to students for test. Fill out Attendance sheet of absences—attaching ticket. (Turn in to GL Guidance at end of your two days of testing.) Constant monitoring—eyes, ears, feet.

On second day of testing, teacher will RESUME students to allow testing to be completed.

Test Administrator…Teacher
After testing: (each day) Collect ALL scratch paper & tickets. Place in Tub & Guidance will collect each afternoon. Logout of MIST Proctor site on teacher computer. Ensure all student computers have been shut down completely & lid closed (if laptop). Leave testing location classroom in good order.

Final preparation… Purple Packet review.
Locations review. Take a ‘field trip’ Monday. Operational ‘Classified’ – opens Monday. Ticket Distribution by TEAMS. 1-Check rosters with tickets. 2-Fill out form before leaving meeting today. 3-Turn in form to GL Guidance. Have a great weekend!
