Why would the situation of the world in the 1930s encourage the rise of a fascist style government? Discuss with a partner

Condition of Europe Economies of Europe never recovered from WW1 (repairing their country / paying for the war / creating new jobs /etc) 1930s depression made everything WORSE Unemployment = high Food = very little available Lawlessness (criminals) = became a major problem

Communism is hypothetical Classless moneyless, stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production
