A Look BACK.. Staff Trainings
1. „Insights into the Innovation Process“ 22 April, 2013 Stockholm, Sweden (host: VINNOVA) 18 participants from 9 different agencies (VINNOVA, FFG, VDI/VDE-IT, RCN, IWT, Agentschap NL, TEKES, PARP, TA CR) Feedback/lessons learnt: All participants who handed in feedback forms evaluated the event as excellent (33%) of good (67%) Participants would have appreciated more time, some topics could only be covered very superficially if offered again: a 2 days duration will be considered Detailed feedback for all events to be found via:

1. „Initiating joint programme evaluations“ 24 January, 2013 Brussels (host: TEKES) 17 participants from 7 different agencies (TEKES, PARP, DASTI, FFG, RCN, Enterprise Estonia, Agentschap NL) Feedback: All participants who handed in feedback forms evaluated the event as excellent (40%) of good (60%) expert network on R&D tax incentive systems was initiated "Valuable on both theoretical and practical level!" 19 March, 2013 Madrid (host: CDTI) 22 participants from 7 different agencies (CDTI, VINNOVA, FFG, IWT, DASTI, PARP, TA CR) Feedback: very good opportunity to exchange experiences on related topic overall evaluation of the event: excellent (8%), good (69%), sufficient (23%) participants would have appreciated more time for discussions

15 April, 2013 Vienna (host: FFG) 12 participants from 7 different agencies (FFG, TEKES, Agentschap NL, IWT, RCN, PARP, TA CR) Feedback: overall evaluation of the event: excellent (36%), good (55%), sufficient (9%) again a very good opportunity to exchange experiences on related topic participation of members of expert network on R&DI tax incentive systems "I enjoyed the experience sharing with colleagues from different countries! A Look BACK.. 4. „Preparing for Horizon 2020“ + Expert Session
14-15 May, 2013 Graz (host: FFG) 31 participants from 14 different agencies (Agentschap NL, CDTI, Enterprise Estonia, FFG, IWT, OSEO, PARP, PERA, TA CR, TEKES, RCN, TTGV, VDI/VDE-IT, VINNOVA) Feedback/lessons learnt: 2 days event, combination of networking workshop with EWG meeting expert session was organised as a joint action between EWG members and workshop participants overall evaluation of the event: excellent (29%), good (64%), sufficient (7%) flipchart protocol prepared "The discussions and exchange of knowledge between the colleagues from different agencies are very stimulating and highly appreciated and help to get prepared for Horizon 2020!" LESSONS LEARNT its always the same 7-9 agencies taking part in the events try to reach rest of TAFTIE by further promotion and through respective representatives voucher system (for staff trainings) not yet the big push to get members to participate/send delegates further promotion at EWG and Board meetings, information of TAFTIE employees still huge effort to „get through“ to potential participants provision of contact details very fragmentary input from Board/EWG still needed

collect suggestions from EWG / others before Board meeting 06/13 done! present ideas to Board 06/13, collect additional ideas from Board, define topic focus and potential hosts ongoing set up draft programme 2014 finish draft programme and discuss it in EWG 09/13 send draft programme to Board in 10/13 start „demand survey“ by end of 10/13 discuss outcome demand survey in Board 12/13 – last mobilisation demand survey closes end of 12/13 publication of programme, opening registration 01/14
