Science Notebook My Name My Grade Front Cover – pleas have the following 1.) The name of the course: 8th Grade Science 2.) The class period that you have science: 8-1 for example 3.) The school year: – 2018 4.) Your teacher: Mr. Tyler 5.) Your name: (self explanatory) ON the SPINE of your binder write “SCIENCE”

2 Section Dividers Step 2 The first section of your binder will be tabbed for “Reference Sheets” aka (Ref Sheets) This is where you will keep your Password list, Classroom Policies Note Sheet , and other classroom reference sheets I give you. Put your Password List and Classroom Policies Note Sheet in this section now. The second section of your binder will be tabbed for “Outlines”. - Lesson Outlines will go here in order by Chapter and Lesson#.

3 The third section of your binder will be tabbed “Physical”
Section Dividers continued… The third section of your binder will be tabbed “Physical” - This is where you will keep handouts, vocabulary, and homework for our Physical Science lessons. The fourth section of your binder will be tabbed for “Life”. - This is where you will keep handouts, vocabulary, and homework for our Life Science lessons.

The fifth section of your binder will be tabbed “Earth”. - This is where you will keep handouts, vocabulary, and homework for our Earth Science lessons. The sixth section of you binder will be tabbed “Labs” - This is where you will keep your labs and mini-labs throughout the year.

5 BINDER RULES.. No RIPPED OUT pages or torn corners. No DOODLING that doesn’t relate to science. Binders should only be used for SCIENCE CLASS. Keep your binder organized! Keep Lesson Outlines in order as we go. Putting the newest lesson on top.
