If you meet the
Reading Journeys challenge:
Read 15 books or chapters (of chapter books) every 3 weeks
List them on your Reading Journeys form
Have a parent sign your form
Return it to school by the due date
You’ll get rewards!!!

3. Reward #1: We want your picture!
Every three weeks, students who return their Reading Journey’s sheets will take a group picture that will be displayed in the front hallways of the school AND possibly in the newspaper!
(assuming we have permission to photograph)

4. Reward#2: A shout out!!
Your name will be announced over the intercom every three weeks you return your form!

5. Reward #3: Pick a coupon!
You get to choose a coupon for every form you return!
The choices are…

6. Extra Recess

7. A trip to the Reading Journeys Treasure Box

8. A Homework Pass

9. Have lunch with a friend!

10. Free ice cream!

11. Free Friday popcorn!

12. Reward #4: A Reading Journeys Certificate!
If you return a completed form 9 of 10 times this school year, you will get a special Reading Journeys certificate at the end of the year at your awards ceremony.
We hope that every student participates every time!

You may fall in love…with reading!
Every time you read, you strengthen your literacy skills, making school easier on you! You may find that it’s a wonderful hobby! Knowledge is power!
