Field trips: George Bush Library and Meadows Museum
Special classes: Latin and Formation
Technology: Smartboard and Ipads (apps, programming, and video creation)
Language Arts- practice oral and written expression and become independent writers
Science: S.T.E.M. project-based learning: Solar House Challenge, Hot Air Balloon Design, Earthquake Challenge and Spherobots
Math: Hands-On learning using various mediums
Reading: students learn to go beyond the reading of words to understand “Author’s purpose”
