2 Your Mission Create a lesson on your poem to deliver to the class.
It can take any form and comprise of whatever activities you like. Your lesson should include: Some exploration of the content & meaning of the poem (key themes, feelings, mood and tone) Detailed exploration of language, form and structure including how it affects the reader. How you would approach writing about the poem. Begin by getting to grips with the poem; annotating in as much detail as possible using the techniques and skills learnt so far.

3 Set at least 3 initial objectives to work on.
Setting Objectives Set at least 3 initial objectives to work on. What needs to be achieved by the end of the lesson? What smaller tasks need to be completed in order for this to occur? How can we prioritise these tasks and who is responsible for each one? What will you need to do at home to complete the lesson so that it is ready to be delivered?

4 Planning You will be delivering your lesson nearer the end of term.
You should be working in your groups over the term, using home learning time to work interdependently together. Your lesson should last minutes. You must ensure that: Your peers have a fully annotated poem by the end of your lesson. They understand the poem’s message and key language features.
