Welcome to RAVIN The Rutgers Alumni Volunteer Information Network (RAVIN) is a group of dedicated alumni who assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in recruiting the next generation of Rutgers scholars! What does RAVIN accomplish? Maintain Rutgers’ presence in regions not easily visited by Rutgers admissions staff. Convey the benefits of a Rutgers education while sharing their experiences and disseminating vital information about the University. Be an involved and engaged alum in your own hometown!

RAVIN Coordinators Alumni volunteers who act as leaders in their area to organize coverage for their local college fairs. Receive college invites from Undergraduate Admissions Work with other local alumni to determine who can attend the college fair & inform Undergraduate Admissions who will be attending. Undergraduate Admissions registers for fairs & sends materials to the RAVIN member who will be attending the fair RAVIN attend the fair, send interest cards back to Undergraduate Admissions

College Fairs August – November, some Spring
Typically take place weeknights (7-9pm); sometimes on weekends Generally held in high school gymnasiums/cafeterias with larger fairs held at community colleges, civic centers, or shopping malls Enables recruiter to interact with students and parents in a casual and informational setting Recruiters answer students questions and distribute brochures Updated Standard table set-up

5.) How much does it cost to attend Rutgers? Students under 24 years of age are presumed to be dependent on their parents. Residency determined by parent domicile. Must show proof before semester to change residency Living on or off campus for one year does not change residency Financial Aid Need based Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 15th Merit Scholarships 1,000 incoming students were recipients Range from $1,000 to $24,000 (renewable for four years) Must apply before December 1st Criteria to be considered: academic (SAT/ACT, GPA, Grades, Strength of Program) NJ Residents Out-of-State Residents Tuition $10, $23,676 Fees $ 2, $ 2,717 Room and Board $11, $11,412 Total: $24, $37,805
