2 What to include in your presentation?
1.) Choose a health topic which either personally relates to you, or one which you feel passionate about. 2.) Describe in your own words what the issue is & Why you choose this topic. 3.) Give a brief overview of the health concern. 4.) Include statistics and facts pertaining to your topic. *You may include an informational video (no longer then 60 seconds). 5.) Include visual aids to enhance the understanding of topic.

*presentation must include the following 5 requirements. *Presentation myst be minimum 3 minutes, maximum of 5 minutes. *No complete sentences, use bullet points *Know your information, avoid reading off your slides. *15 points possible

4 #1. Choose a health topic which either personally relates to you, or one which you feel passionate about. Out of the 23 million ppl. living with AIDS (in Africa alone), 57% are women! Women are 3x more likely to be infected with HIV then men. Access to HIV medication is a huge problem in AFRICA!

5 Diagnosed= need medication FAST.
#2.) Describe in your own words what the issue is & Why you choose this topic. Diagnosed= need medication FAST. HOW TO GET MEDS? Here lies the problem. Uncle was in the peace core for 20 years in Uganda Africa. Taught women how to have sustainable crops to sell, trade for medication.

HIV vs. AIDS (3 stages) What happens? Virus attacks immune system Die from opportunistic infections because of a lower immune system.

7 #4.Include statistics and facts pertaining to your topic.
Nearly 37 million people worldwide are living with HIV. Since the pandemic, 78 million ppl. have contracted HIV and 39 million have died from complications. 25.8 million live in Africa. 88% of HIV positive children are living in Africa. In 2014, 62% of NEW HIV infections occurred in ADOLESCENT girls. African women have 3 1/2 X that of white women.
