God’s control gives us comfort when things are going bad

God is going to kill Moses for having an uncircumcised son

7. 14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.

God works in people’s weakness, not their disobedience
God’s punishment restores Moses and enables him to fulfil his mission
God’s uncompromising justice means he had to swap a Son for a son to set us free

9. A Father who can be Trusted
Everything takes place just as God said it would
The people worship as if they have already been freed
In the midst of uncertainty and despair, you can trust God to get you through
The king of the universe wants to be your Daddy. Will you be his child?
