How to Register on Active Orders Trading Grid Company Registration
This training presentation provides an explanation of the steps you will need to perform to complete the Trading Grid Company Registration process so your company can exchange documents with your Buyer community using Active Orders.

You will receive an invitation to register to use the Active Orders system. To register, click on the first URL provided in the registration invitation. Your invitation code will be different than the invitation code shown in these slides. You will receive an inviting you to register to use Active Orders. Click on the Registration URL in the . The link will take you directly to the registration system. Complete the information about your company location, and then choose Submit. Required fields are marked with an asterisk(*). The company name you enter here is your company’s legal name, and will be permanently set to this value in your Trading Grid Company Profile. In Step 1, you review the subscription information. Active Orders was previously known as Order Lifecycle Visibility (OLV). You may see references to the previous name in the registration system. Enable all listed features. The Optional Features may be different for your Active Orders community. Next , the system displays the Service Subscription page. In Step 3, you will set up a user account for the individual at your company that should be the primary contact for the Trading Grid /Active Orders system. Scroll down to complete additional details in the Personal Information section. This information is used to set up the primary Trading Grid contact for your company. This individual will also have the Account Manager privilege, which provides access to the Trading Grid and application administrative functions, including User Management. If you are not the individual who should be the primary Trading Grid contact, or the system Account Manager, you can enter the contact information and credentials for the individual that should be assigned those roles. In Step 3, you will set up a user account for the individual at your company that should be the primary contact for the Trading Grid /Active Orders system.

The password is case-sensitive. In this step, you also set up the log in information to sign into the Trading Grid. The Trading Grid User ID must be formatted as a valid address. The Trading Grid password is case-sensitive. When you sign in to the system, you will need to enter the password exactly as you establish it here. Next, set your Password Security information. If you forget your Trading Grid password, you will be able to reset your password if you know this information. In Step 4, you provide information about your company. The asterisks (*) identify the required fields. For Industry Type, you can just choose the closest possible match. You will need to provide a Business contact and a Technical contact for your company. If you are the contact, choose the Same as My Profile check box. The system confirms that your registration request has been submitted. Choose Close to close the window. Do not choose the Login button. The process on the GXS side takes a few minutes to complete. After your registration request is accepted, you will receive an confirming that your registration has been approved. You can use the URL provided in the confirmation to access the system. The password is case-sensitive. This is the Login page you will see after accessing the Trading Grid URL. Enter your Trading Grid User ID and Password, and then choose the Login button. The Trading Grid User ID is always formatted as an address. It is not case-sensitive. The Trading Grid password is case-sensitive, and must be entered exactly as it was established. After accessing the Trading Grid URL, enter your Trading Grid User ID and Password, and then choose the Login button.
