Virtual memory is simply an area of secondary storage that is used like RAM. It is temporary storage that is located on the hard disk. TASK: What is flash memory? Starter activity Flash memory is a type of non-volatile storage. It retains its information even without power. So it is ideal for devices such as cameras, solid state drives and so on.
