Angiosperms vs. Gymnosperms
Angiosperms>flowering plants>fruit develops from the ovary>seeds are found inside the fruit. Gymnosperms>means “naked seed”>fruit is typically a cone>seeds are found on the scales of the cone. Pines, Spruces, Larch, Juniper, Fir, etc.

Male part of the flower Anthers contain pollen Pistil = stigma + style + ovary Female part of the flower The ovary contains one to many ovules

Perfect Flowers Have both the male and female reproductive parts, i.e. stamens and a pistil

Complete Flowers Have all 4 of the main flower parts;
Pistil(s) Stamens Petals Sepals A flower lacking any of the above parts is referred to as being “incomplete”. Can a flower be perfect and incomplete at the same time?
