3 33 JTE Requirements Division Mission Statement Identify shortfalls in the joint training environment (JTE) and develop a prioritized list of validated requirements that will result in the JTE more accurately representing the joint operating environment (JOE)

4 Joint Training Environment Working Definition (Doctrine Reviewed): The training setting in which all joint systems, personnel, and equipment required to execute a given task in the Joint Operating Environment are present or accurately replicated to enable the specific training objectives being sought A shared and integrated, globally-available, live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training component where combatant command, Service, multinational, and governmental and nongovernmental organization programs, sites, and systems interact to plan, prepare, execute, and assess joint training

5 Requirements Process Focus Joint Training Environment Shortfalls will be submitted to Joint Training Environment Requirements Division via Service, COCOM, or CSA representative JNTC Accreditation/Certification shortfalls will be input to Requirements Division and be included on the Prioritized joint training environment Requirements List

6 Requirements Phase Endstate (Deliverable) A prioritized list of validated, measurable, and actionable requirements that meet operational training needs to enable building a relevant and effective joint training environment 6
