2 Beware of Indicator Icon
To remove indicator, right click task with icon. Then click Task Information. Open the Advanced tab. Set constraint type to “as soon as possible”.

4 Doing Three Time Estimates
To enter 3 time estimates: Click View/Toolbars/PERT Analysis. If there is no “PERT Analysis” go to step 2. Otherwise stop. Click View/Toolbars/Customize. Click Commands tab. In Categories box, click All Commands. In Commands box, click ComAddInsDialog and drag it near any toolbar displayed at the top of the Project window. Release mouse button to add ComAddInsDialog command to the toolbar. Click Close on the Customize dialog box. Click COM Add-Ins on the toolbar where it was just added. Clear (undo) check boxes for Adjust Dates, Copy Picture to Office, and Pert Analysis. Then click OK. Click COM Add-Ins again. Click check boxes for Adjust Dates, Copy Picture to Office, and Pert Analysis. Then click OK. Click View/Toolbars/PERT Analysis.

5 Problem 1.2: Three Time Estimates
To enter 3 time estimates: Click View/Toolbars/PERT Analysis. Click on icon 1 to enter three times. Click icon 2 to calculate mean time. 2 1

6 Problem 1.2: Expected Time Gantt Chart
Click View/Gantt Chart to see chart. Don’t forget to enter in prerequisites. Click icon at 3 to show schedule with optimistic, pessimistic, or mean times. Find critical path. 3
