Selection Tool The selection tool allows you to highlight or select part of a layer. Use this tool to change or remove a specific part of an image. Each selection tool performs a different type of cropping. The tolerance changes how exact the selection is.

Layers Every time you add a new image to your project you
are adding a new layer. You must always click on the layer you wish to work on. To put all of your layers together into one image, you must merge them. This glues the layers together and does not allow you to edit an individual image.

Effects Use the effects options to blend your images or make them more
interesting. Each folder has different options for changing your images.

Using Images When you are creating a project in
Imageblender, you may get pictures from: Pics4Learning ClipArt The Internet If taking pictures from the internet, copy the full-size image, not the thumbnail. DO NOT choose pictures that are blurry!

Assignment Go to the website below and complete the tutorial for using Imageblender. Begin the tutorial on page 16, called “Open An Image from Pics4Learning” Show me your completed image before you close the program!
