Body Image and Controversial Ads
Each group gets 20 seconds to guess what the ad is selling. Each group will get a chance to guess for two different ads. When time is up, the full ad will be displayed. Concluding the activity, we will discuss how media can affect our interpretation of the “ideal” body image. READY?

What kinds of bodies did the models in the ads have? Can you name any companies that promote a healthy body in their ads?
