2. Activity Fantastic Binomial
I am going ask two students to say a word.
You and your partner must then come up with a story revolving around the two said words.
You will have 5-10 min. to complete your story, then we will share.
You may record your story in your Literature Learning Log.

3. Your turn
Take a few minutes and brainstorm with your partner on your dry erase boards what you both believe you need to tell or write a story.

4. Story Invention Organize time and space into a:
Cause-and-effect chain of events with a beginning-middle-end, and
Embodies a judgment about the nature of events (causing a transformation) and
Is communicated
Make sure you copy this down

5. 4 C’s A Continuum (time and space)
Caused by something (cause-and-effect)
A reCognition (is communicated)
Is Credible

6. A Story in a Limerick
There once was a woman from Niger Who smiled as she rode on a tiger They returned from the ride With the lady inside And a smile on the face of the tiger

7. Let’s see it in action…
