Conjunctions, Combining Sentences, and Cows – A PowerPoint Game!

What are conjunctions? Conjunctions are used to join words or groups of words together. If conjunctions are a part of a list, they are usually right before the last item on the list.

How do we combine sentences?

Sometimes you can combine two short or “choppy” sentences together to make them sound better. For example: The cows played in the field The cows ate the grass in the field Combined Sentence: The cows played and ate the grass in the field.
