2 Course Description In this unit, students look at how northern England became the engine that drove the world through a study of the Industrial Revolution, the technological innovations that led to the Industrial Revolution as well other conditions that influenced the industrialisation of Britain. You will examine population movements, developments in agriculture, manufacturing and transport. Students study the experiences of men, women and children during the Industrial Revolution as well as the short and long-term impacts of the Industrial Revolution

4 Subject pathway…. Students who choose this subject may look to study any history unit in Year 10 and then study VCE History Units 1 & 2 Twentieth Century History in Year 11 and Units 3 & 4 Revolutions in Year 12.
