2 Secant – a line that intersects a circle at two points.

3 Intersections inside a circle (angles):
When two lines intersect inside a circle, the angles are an average of the opposite arcs. m<1= ½ (mCD+mAB)

4 Find the measure of numbered angle if mKL=47° and mNM=88°.

5 Intersections on circle:
If a tangent and a secant intersect at the point of tangency. The angle formed is ½ of the intercepted arc.

6 Intersections outside circles (angles):
X= ½ (big arc – small arc)
