Secant – a line that intersects a circle at two points.

Intersections inside a circle (angles):
When two lines intersect inside a circle, the angles are an average of the opposite arcs. m<1= ½ (mCD+mAB)

Intersections on circle:
If a tangent and a secant intersect at the point of tangency. The angle formed is ½ of the intercepted arc.
