Academic to UNIVERISTY (U) or COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY (M) Applied to COLLEGE (C) or COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY (M) Locally Developed to WORKPLACE (E) OPEN (O) You must choose the level that matches the previous levels you have taken ***Make sure you pay CLOSE attention to PREREQUISITES for Grade 12 courses and post-secondary programs at College, University, or Apprenticeships

22 SUMMER SCHOOL Unsuccessful this year? You could be eligible for summer school (MUST have between 35% and 49%) Guidance will keep track of your unsuccessful courses and call you down in MAY for summer school registration information if you are eligible If you are looking to take an Accelerated course in summer school (e.g. Grade 11 Math) you must still choose it in your option selections for next year Guidance will substitute your alternate course choice once registration is confirmed

29 THE PROCESS All of your course selections are done through CAREER CRUISING COURSE PLANNER To choose your classes you have to: SELECT your classes on Course Planner SUBMIT your choices PRINT out a copy of your classes Have your parent SIGN the sheet RETURN the signed copy to your homeroom teacher NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH 2018.

30 COURSE SELECTION DATES
FEBRUARY 16 – you will be allowed to SUBMIT after reviewing your Semester 1 final report card Once you hit SUBMIT you will NOT be allowed to change your selections Your SIGNED FORMS are due to your homeroom teacher by Tuesday, February 20th 2018 If you do not submit …we will choose your classes for you!
