Question your data Criminalization of same-sex activity is statistically associated with low MSM population size estimates Low population size estimates and small sample sizes are a factor in inflated HIV testing coverage rates among countries reporting % HIV testing coverage for MSM Algeria: conducted 59 HIV tests among MSM; 57 results were picked up; reported a 96.6% HIV testing coverage rate among MSM May exacerbate and perpetuate de-prioritization and underfunding of the response among MSM Meg Davis (and colleagues at NYU). Remarks delivered at the 2016 MSMGF Pre-Conference “Action & Access: Rights and Demands of Gay and Bisexual Men in the Global AIDS Response ” July 16, 2016
