If you do well, won’t you be accepted? And if you don’t do well, sin is lying in wait for you, ready to pounce; it’s out to get you, you’ve got to master it.”

1. All we own & possess actually belongs to god
We Came into this world with nothing so shall we exit! Duet 8:17-18 If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again... 1 Chronicles 29:10-14 David said wealth and honor come from you… 1 Chronicles 29:10David praised the Lordin the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, Lord, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. 11Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. 12Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. 13Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 14“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

Galatians 6:10 do good to all people especially to those in the family of god. He sees our wealth finances & faith as inseperable. Mathew 25:31-45 taking care of the poor and hurting widows and orphans Why did god bless us with stuff? We need to learn to use riches and wealth the way god intended from the beginning.
