Warner Brother is a fully integrated, broad-based entertainment company and a global leader in the creation, production, distribution, licensing and marketing of all forms of entertainment and their related businesses. The company bellowed until 2016 to Time Warner Inc., a global leader in media and entertainment with businesses in television networks and film and TV entertainment. On October 22, 2016, AT&T reached a deal to buy Time Warner for $108.7 billion. The merger would bring Time Warner's properties, including Warner Bros., under the same umbrella as AT&T’s.

Warner Bros. Pictures produces and distributes an average between films each year. Pictures either fully finances or co-finances the films it produces and maintains worldwide distribution rights. It further monetizes its distribution and marketing operations by distributing films that are totally financed and produced by others. The Current multi-faceted co-financing joint ventures include those with Village Roadshow Pictures and Rat Pac-Dune Entertainment. Warner Bros. Pictures also has a distribution, co-financing deal with Alcon Entertainment.

Warner Bros. Pictures International is a leader in the marketing and distribution of feature films to markets outside of North America, operating offices in more than 30 countries and releasing films in over 120 international territories, either directly to theaters or in conjunction with partner companies and co-ventures. Additionally, as part of Warner Bros.’ initiative to support and nurture local-language film production worldwide, the Studio is deeply involved in production, acquisition and distribution of local-language films for their countries of origin, releasing over 600 such films to date in a number of countries. Warner Bros. is most active in Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, Japan, Korea, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.

Comparison After comparer both of the companies it is very impressive how different are a big production company comparing with an independent company. Between many of the differences we can highlight: The reach of audience and the massive multimedia content that is produced from a big production company like Warner Bros, were they develop between 18 to 22 feature films a year, and are distributed in more that 30 countries comparing with White lantern Film that they only has develop a percentage of 3 independent short film only available for purchase in Amazon.
