Accessed via btwholesale.com, Business Zone gives you a consolidated view of all your BT Wholesale orders, faults and inventory. And our improved search facility and filters make it easy to find the information you’re looking for. Please note: Before raising a fault, please check any recent communications from us. There might be a common issue that we’re currently working on fixing. We’ll keep you informed on the progress of any fault we’re working on.

5 Accessing Business Zone
What is Business Zone? Accessing Business Zone is easy. Simply login to btwholesale.com. If you have the correct privileges and accesses, you’ll be taken directly to My BT Wholesale. If you aren’t taken to Business Zone on login, you’ll need to contact your company administrator to provide you access.

6 How To Place an Radio Survey Order
You can order Radio Survey via Business zone. Please visit our Transformed Ethernet Ordering page to learn more about our new online Business zone order journeys. Ordering a Radio Survey order follows the same conventions of ordering Ethernet. Within the order journey you’ll be: Checking availability of the service at the address you want the survey to be carried out Requesting the survey type (Radio Survey or Bandwidth Upgrade) Selecting the bandwidth you require

Step 1: Logging In Go to Enter your Username and Password Click ‘Login’

Step 2: Accessing the journey Once logged in, you’ll be taken to Business zone. To access the new journey: Click ‘Place a New Order’

Step 2: Accessing the journey If you have multiple accounts associated with your user id, you’ll need to select the applicable account from the dropdown. Once an account has been selected, click the ‘Products’ tab Click ‘Data Services’ > Ethernet’ > ‘Ethernet Components Select ‘Survey’ 1 2 3

Step 2: Accessing the journey You’ll now be taken to the new journey. Please Note: Logging in for the first time may take a few seconds longer and you may be presented with a ‘Help & tips’ window. From here you can ‘Proceed to order’

Step 3: Choose a Network You’ll begin by configuring your Survey request. First, you’ll need to tell us where you would like the survey to take place and see whether it’s available. Enter the postcode where the survey is to take place and click the magnifying glass. 1

Step 4: Check Availability You’ll now need to select the address where the service is to be installed. Select the address you require the service to be installed Click ‘Confirm’ to use the selected address Note: Unlike Etherway fibre, you can’t create an address for Radio Survey. 1 2

Step 4: Check Availability The address will now be populated. If you wish to change the installation address, you can do so by clicking ‘Change Site’. If you are happy that the correct address is populated, click ‘Check Availability’ 1

Step 4: Check Availability You will now see the availability check result. The check will attempt to provide service from the node closest to the End User’s premises. If it’s not available, you will be given an option to select an alternative node for the order. Click ‘Next’ to continue 1

Step 5: Site Details You will now enter details on where the service will be installed at the site.

Step 5: Site Details Next, you’ll set up your primary contact details. Click ‘Set up primary contact’ 1

Step 5: Site Details Next, you’ll set up your primary contact details. We’ve defaulted the option to the ‘Create new contact’ tab. This allows you to manually enter the primary contact details. If you wish to use a primary contact you’ve used in the past, you can search and select it from the ‘Add existing contact’ tab. It’s recommended you do this where possible. Click ‘Confirm’ to continue.

Step 5: Site Details Primary contact details will now be displayed. If you wish to change these, you can click ‘Edit’ Optionally, you can also allocate secondary contact details if you wish 2 1

Step 5: Site Details You can also add optional site related notes. To do this, click ‘Add Note’ A lightbox will be opened where you can select the note type and enter the note Please Note: Only Hazard notes are available. 3. Click ‘Save’ to save the note 1 2 3

Step 5: Site Details If you have entered a note, you can see it in the main journey You have the option to edit or remove the note if you wish Click ‘Next’ to continue 2 1 3

Step 6: Access Details In this step, you’ll be adding details of the survey Configurable options are: 1 Type of survey required: Radio Survey Bandwidth Upgrade Bandwidth: 100Mbit/s 1Gbit/s

Step 7: Set the Activation Date You’ll now set the required date for the order. They’re defaulted to the standard minimum lead time. If you wish to change the CRD, you can do so by clicking ‘Change’ Click ‘Next’ to continue 1 2

Step 8: Add Contacts In this step, you can add and choose contacts who wish to be kept up to date with the order progress. We default the contact details to the account issuing the order. You can add a contact by clicking ‘Add Contact’ Or you can edit the existing contact by clicking ‘Edit’ 1 2

Step 8: Add Contacts You can select how you would like to be kept up to date via the ‘Update Method’ dropdown Once you are happy that all the contact details are entered correctly, click ‘Next’ to continue 1 2

Step 9: Billing In this section you can select the billing account associated with the Etherway and Etherflow orders. The billing account details will be auto –populated. But you have the option to change them if you wish Click ‘Next’ to continue 1 2

Step 10: Confirmation The confirmation page gives you a summary of the order.

Step 10: Confirmation Update method is shown You are required to enter a reference for the order. You can use this reference when searching for your order Then, click the confirmation checkbox Click ‘Place Order’ to enter the order 1 2 3 4

Step 10: Confirmation A success message will now be displayed confirming the order has been submitted. The BT Order reference will be returned confirming this. You can also feedback on the Open UI journey from this page.
