Short Term Medical Insurance Protects members while they’re between health plans. Easy to use coverage for people with a temporary gap in medical coverage due to a: Change in job Change in coverage from employer, parents, school The plan covers injuries and sudden-onset illnesses. Short Term Medical (STM) neither covers preventative health nor pre-existing conditions. Note: STM is not ACA approved coverage, but provides a cushion until comprehensive medical coverage is obtained. Available in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Utah

4 Short Term Medical Insurance
Protects members while they’re between health plans. Easy to use medical coverage for healthy individuals who want interim coverage from 30 to 90 days. No network restrictions – members may see any doctor Does NOT cover pre-existing conditions. Includes a $25,000 accidental death benefit For Idaho residents: One STM policy may be purchased within a 12-month period. All other states: Two STM policies may be purchased within a 12-month period.
