Section One Summary of the reason the person is famous.

Section Two Early Childhood
What was your childhood like? You may want to include birth date, parents, siblings, where you grew up.

Section Three Education
The next paragraphs should tell the reader about the person’s education. Generally, entries do not include elementary school. This is the first section that requires you to think “beyond” what has actually happened. Decide where you received your training. Be practical. If you’re a famous lawyer, did you go to Harvard or Stanford?

Section Four Career Path
The next several paragraphs detail the special training, events, and major influences that contributed to the success of this person. Summarize your career path.

Section Five Family Structure
The next paragraph should describe your family structure. This may include mentioning your spouse and children. What is your family structure?

Section Six Detailed Description
This section repeats the basic information from the first paragraph. However, there is a more detailed description. Describe in detail the reason you are famous.

Section Seven Additional Awards & Information
The final paragraphs list any additional awards or information. What additional awards did you receive? Are you famous for any additional reasons?

You should now have a sloppy copy of your entry. If you completed each slide in the given order, you should be fine as far as Ideas & Content and Organization goes.

You need to read your entry several times to revise for fluency.

After you have revised for fluency, revise for word choice.

You are now ready to make your entry goof - proof.
