ADVANCED INFANTRY TRAINING BATTALION SCHOOL OF INFANTRY – EAST
COMMAND PHILOSOPHY I believe in the United States of America, and I have great faith in all Marines who have made a commitment to support and defend our country, Constitution, and way of life. Our command provides a significant contribution to the Marine Corps and its primary role as a warfighting organization. Every action we perform shall support winning our Nation’s battles and developing the best possible Marines. My expectations for all Advanced Infantry Training Battalion – East Marines are listed below: Support the Marine Corps’ primary role as a warfighting organization. Operate in alignment with my guidance and intent, and our service and unit orders, directives, and policies. Perform with patience, confidence, and professionalism. Treat all students with respect. Plan and execute safe and advantageous training. Use initiative and foresight to ensure you remain highly competitive for continued advancement and unique opportunities in all aspects of life. Be a Subject Matter Expert in your Military Occupational Specialty and an expert overall Infantryman. Live well. Support fellow Marines and our families. Maintain a good attitude. Do what you know is right. Give your best daily. We will operate and succeed as a team. Further discussion regarding these points is encouraged, and assistance is always available through the Chain of Command. God Bless all of you and what you do every day. S. P. Carroll Lieutenant Colonel, USMC Commanding
