4 Who may use the Math Lab? All registered Fullerton College math students are welcome to use the Math Lab’s resources. YES, THAT MEANS YOU!

5 Your first “Fall 2018” visit to the Math Lab
Please, bring your Fullerton or Cypress College student ID card. Please, ask for staff assistance. You will then be registered in Math N01 F and given informational handouts (Math Lab Overview and Tutoring Policy).

6 Math N01 F - Registration Math Lab Usage SELECT “Yes, By Instructor”
you must be enrolled in a Fullerton College math course before you can register in Math N01 F (a zero-unit, no cost, non-credit tutoring course) on your first visit to the Math Lab. SELECT “Yes, By Instructor”

7 SCAN YOUR STUDENT ID CARD
ENTERING THE MATH LAB IMMEDIATELY SCAN YOUR STUDENT ID CARD Follow the prompts on the monitor. Always check the monitor to make sure you are scanned in or out. If a scanner is not working properly, please tell the staff. Remember… scan out, every time you leave the lab. .

8 MATH LAB TIME Time Requirement - is up to your instructor Time Limit
A maximum session is two (2) hours. A session begins when you scan in and ends when you scan out. If you exceed two (2) hours, you may receive zero (0) time for that session. If you would like to stay longer than two (2) hours, scan out and then scan back in to refresh your time.

9 What to do in the Math Lab?
STUDY at a table or booth TUTORING at the counter COMPUTERS for DVD lectures, online homework or tutorials

10 Want to Study Math? Reminders: All Large Tables Are Reserved By Course
All Small Tables And Booths Are Open To Everyone (even if you are not using the computer in the booth) Reminders: The Lab is for studying Math ONLY. Please DO NOT MOVE the chairs from one location to another.

11 One-On-One Tutoring An instructor is on duty every hour the Math Lab is open.
Where: Curved Counter Area BRING YOUR TEXTBOOK AND YOUR ATTEMPTED WORK Note: You will receive the “Tutoring Policy” when you register for the Math Lab.

and Student Staff Greeters.

13 Textbook Specific Course Materials on Computers
With Mouse, Click on… 1. “MATH” folder 2. “COURSE” folder 3. “AUTHOR” of course 4. “MEDIA” option 5. Desired material 3 1 2 4 5 FIND AN AVAILABLE COMPUTER IS THE COMPUTER ON? IF NOT, then turn it on and use “807lab” for the user name and password. The Mouse will now guide you through steps 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 above.

14 SOME INSTRUCTORS’ EDITION TEXTBOOKS AVAILABLE
Located on the shelf by the Computer Science Lab windows for reference and checking answers only, NO photographing.
