What We Don’t Do Help with graded quizzes, take-home or on-line tests
Do the work for you (we are here to help) While we are here to help you in whatever way we can there are a few things we can’t and won’t do. We can not help you with the graded quizzes or tests of any kind. We are here to help you LEARN not just PASS so we won’t do the work for you. We wish we could help you and give you automatic good grades but we can’t. As a compromise we promise as tutors that we will help you anyway we can as long as you promise as students to try your best! In the end, your success in school depends on you. Guarantee good grades: That’s up to you and your overall commitment

Keys to Success Get help early Stay on Track Plan your time
Bring your “stuff” with you Remember to get help early, stay on track, plan your session, be prepared, and be on time. Everything combined is the perfect recipe for your academic success! Get help early – courses build on knowledge. Don’t wait until you get behind. It’s tempting to procrastinate but it’s so much harder to catch up that to keep up. Stay on Track – if the class is hard for you, as your tutor to schedule an on-going appointment. Then you will get to know each other better and the tutor can help you plan a regular study path. Plan your session – Know what you want to work on. The time will go quickly. You’ve taken time out of your busy schedule to do this – make the best use of the time you have. Bring your assignment, textbook, notes, pencils and calculator or other equipment you might need. Be on time/cancel if you can’t make it – if you miss three times without cancelling online you may lose your tutoring privileges. You will need to talk to the coordinator of the Student learning center to be able to make another appointment. When you don’t show up, others aren’t able to get the help they need. Focus on learning more than grades – Yes, you have that important assignment due, but just getting help with an assignment by itself doesn’t help you pass the class. You need to make sure you understand the material so you can “get” the material for your career field or next course and you can pass the final test. Be on time/cancel appointments if you can’t make it Focus on learning more than grades
