Morrie wants Mitch to be at peace with his life before he passes away and Mitch is desperately trying to find peace with his life as there is so many difficulties going on in it. Mitch also mentions how at one point of his life how he wanted to be a part of the Peace Corps, and didn’t want to work for money. However, now it seems as if that's all that matters.

Overall The Peace Corps is another way of seeing the world and living. You don’t do it for money, or anything like that, you’re simply just trying to help people out. The mindset of this organization is a lot like Morrie’s. Morrie tries to help people, consequently, he also studies people so he may sees things in people that no one else would see. The Peace Corps is something that could change the world.
