What is Firebirds? Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a unique Steakhouse, which originated in the east coast, particularly North Carolina First location was in stonecrest Idea is to reenact the feeling you get when you go to a ski lodge It stimulates the senses, relaxes the soul, and transports the guests to a special place like no other

Currently 26 store locations. Plan to double by the end of 2015

The Research I conducted my research in hopes that i would find what Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is really like on the inside In order to do that i conducted some primary and secondary research

What I found from the Interview
1. What is the Market Strategy? Promote themselves as a unique steakhouse Promote 100% customer satisfaction using the 4 walls technique 2. What is Strategy behind the menu? offer hand cut steaks over a wood burning fire(10%-20% cheaper) Make every house specialty unique in its own way for instance the pecan encrusted trout served with a peach salsa

4. What other groups of people would you like to attract? Attract more of a national pharmaceutical companies that have branches in the area. Also Hotel guests because they dine out typically every night

Our way of getting customers on to our online database Once a guest signs up they will get a $10 dollar gift card and a free dessert on their birthdays The member are ed special promotions 6. Social Media Campaign Create a campaign using the social media websites. The members of the social media websites create a video of a new menu item that they want to see in the menu. The video with the most likes will receive a gift card and there menu item added. Higher a College student from a local school(UNCC). He/she will handle the social media aspect and keeping the hype on the campaign.

Bar menu item Add 5 new sauces to the bar/ happy hour menu to add more customization to the menu 1. Horseradish 2. Honey Barbeque 3. Sweet and Sour 4. Caribbean style (hot peppers with some exotic spices) spiciest of the five 5. Garlic

Cost Winner of the contest will receive a $1000 gift card and the 5 runner ups will receive $200 gift cards. New menu item will range from $20,000- $30,000 The 5 new sauces will cost 3,000 dollars each for a total cost of 15,000
