Discussions TDM in Scholarly Communication Life Cycle
TDM enabled Health State Modelling TDM enabled Archeology Good morning. The next 15min, I will share our progress creating use cases for TDM in Scholarly Communication. This is where the footer goes

Discoverability: Text and Data Mining in
Scholarly Communication Life Cycle Question or Idea Research Informal Communication Conference Proceedings Journal Articles Abstracts & Indexes Edited Volumes Books Reference Sources Tertiary Literature Secondary Primary Cycle of Scholarly Communication Simulate Experiment Observe Manage the data Analyze the data Share the data Research Cycle Integration with data repositories (common repository API) Guidelines for reviewing data before article publication Data citation to reuse data and validate published results New versions of a dataset include new research Guidelines for authors to include data citations in reference list Submit Review Publish Reuse & Extend Prepare New submission Cycle of Journal Publication Everybody in this room knows that that Scholarly production is cyclical in nature. It could be TDM enabled in the step where the RESEARCH step. [Click] Specifically, it could be TDM enabled when the Researcher is needs other research data to simulate, experiment, augment and observe. Text and Data Mining innovations could make these cycles work more effectively. Text and Data Mining tools could provide stakeholders with tools that work in two directions. Provide a selection of items (data / articles / etc.) that directly touch upon their interests and expertise Allow them to leverage large data sets of articles to draw general conclusions (meta-studies, epidemiological studies, etc.) As the article is published, [click], publishers have the responsibility to disseminate these articles with data repositories like OpenAIRE and CORE. A short pause and plugging, Join the OpenMinTED call for content.
For the content providers, OpenMinTED provides three options for connecting content. One, you can register through OpenAIRE or CORE. Two, you can use the tools to create your own corpora. And three, implement your own content and connector APIs. If you are interested in the details, please come and see me after the talk. We are looking for content providers (publishers, repositories, libraries and other holders of scholarly publications) who would like to make their content discoverable and mineable through the OpenMinTeD platform. Joining the call will not only increase your content’s visibility and impact, but you can also win a sum of money to help you with the implementation. You can submit a proposal until 05 November 2017. This is where the footer goes

TDM enabled Health State Modelling
“the right intervention for the right patient, at the right time” .. HSM is defining the time aspect.. M. Rebhan, Mar 2017 Now, let us to a Research Use Case in Life Sciences. Precision Medicine is about the Right Intervention for the Right Patient at the Right Time. Health State Modelling is defining the time aspect of PM using probabilistic Markov’s models to interventions. How does TDM enable PM-HSM research? Reference: This is where the footer goes

TDM assisted research on Archeology, Rock Art
In archaeology, rock art is human-made markings placed on natural stone; it is largely synonymous with parietal art. A global phenomenon, rock art is found in many culturally diverse regions of the world. Source: This is where the footer goes
