Program philosophy Century High School

Boosters The key to a program running well is to have a solid booster group. We would love to have as many people as possible committed to helping out with the program to keep operations running. Booster Fee Cost and What it covers.

CHS Soccer Rummage Sale
We will be having a program rummage sale on All teams will help with this event. Set up will begin on Friday night and tear down will be in the afternoon on Saturday. Teams will work this in shifts We ask that people bring 2 dozen of a baked good for the event and anything you’d like to sell with proceeds going to the program.

Military appreciation night
We will be holding a Military Appreciation Night/Breast Cancer Awareness Match on 5/24 v BHS Players will fill a M&M container with all proceeds going to the TAPS Fund/Bismarck Cancer Center All players in the program will get a T-shirt to wear for a game against BHS. Cost is included in the booster fee for the T-Shirt and you get to keep it. We would like people to help get the T-Shirts organized.

Social Events We would love and encourage teams to have events with each other. Team meals, get- togethers, team building events. Would need Volunteers from each team to help coordinate these events.

Senior Night A night to honor all the seniors in our program.
We need people to help out with this (Preferably Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior Parents) to make it special for our seniors and their parents. Thursday May 18th at 8pm vs Legacy

Program Banquet Hosted at Century in the commons.
Need people to help get this organized and planned out so that it runs smooth. Any one know a good MC?

Ball Kids We need ball kids for all Varsity Games!!
Kids will be compensated for their work Don’t have to work every game Need at least 5-6 per game

Paperwork GET IT DONE ASAP!!!
No paper work, no play…It’s not my responsibility for you to get it in. Can bring paper work to practice or turn in at the office. Just make sure to tell the nice office ladies it’s for me. Fill out the Medical Release and Code of Conduct and bring to first night of tryouts. Physicals MUST BE DONE BY March 28th or they can not play until it is done. If you’ve had one for a previous sport this fall or winter then you’re good to go. Impact Testing for concussions Applies to all Freshmen, Juniors, new students to BPS, or players that haven’t taken it yet. Date will be Weds. March 30th 4-5pm in the CHS Library and Thurs. March 31st 3:30-4:30pm in the CHS Library

Bullying/Hazing There will be a zero tolerance for bullying and hazing within the CHS soccer program. It is a privilege to play for this program not a right. Respect your fellow teammates, classmates, and people of the community.

CHS Soccer on Facebook Follow the program on Facebook by searching for us as “Century Girls Soccer” Then while your at it become a fan of “Century Boys Soccer” Easy and fast way for coaches to update practice/match changes due to weather or conflicts. Game updates for all teams in the program will be posted here. Have pictures? Let the coaching staff know and we’ll get them put on the page!!

Online soccer store We have a clothing store set up for players/parents. I recommend buying every color sock offered, that way you have training pairs and match pairs.

Tryout Dates/Times Weather Permitting we will be outside at Hughes for tryouts. If it’s too cold and the snow hasn’t moved out yet then we’ll be in the Century Gyms. Tryouts start Monday March 27th and will conclude by Thurs. March 30th Players will be split into groups that will vary each day. Non-Tryout Players will be updated on when to report for practices and team placement.

Monday March 27th Group 1 – 7:30-8:45pm Freshmen/Sophomores Group 2 – 8:45-10pm Juniors/Seniors We START at the scheduled times…that means you are warmed up and ready to go. Outdoor Times at Hughes or Other Dry Patch of Grass Juniors/Seniors – 4:00-5:30pm Freshmen/Sophomores– 5:30-7pm Same rule applies as above as to when we start. Rest of Times can be found on the Website
