Marine Weather and Coastal Services
•Forecast and warning services for the Arctic, North Pacific, Bering Sea, and Gulf of Alaska waters •Coastal storm surge forecasts and warnings •Spot support for HAZMAT and SAR •Direct contact with mariners for delivery of critical information and collection of volunteer observations Note the relative size of the area covered by 3 WFOs in Alaska.
